I used Singapore Sling Bricks for MOC sourcing on a very large LEGO MOC: an ultra-mega yacht made up of 48,000+ pieces. For a build of that size, sourcing the parts was honestly one of the most intimidating parts of the entire project. I could have tried to import the parts list into BrickLink and order everything myself, but after going through the process, I can confidently say that using Singapore Sling Bricks was absolutely worth it.
What stood out most was that this was not just a simple “order the parts and pass them over” service. He actually reviewed the parts list properly, looked through the sourcing options, and suggested sensible edits where possible to help reduce unnecessary cost. In my case, those savings added up. Using his sourcing service saved me money compared to ordering everything myself.
His experience with BrickLink also made a big difference. Anyone who has tried sourcing a large MOC knows that BrickLink can be powerful, but it is not always straightforward. Auto-selecting stores sounds easy in theory, but with a huge parts list, there are practical issues: store max buy limits, some sellers not sorting parts by type, and the risk that parts disappear from selected stores before checkout. For a 48,000+ piece order, that would have been a nightmare to manage alone. Having someone experienced handle that process took a massive amount of stress off my shoulders.
I also used his sections-sorting service, and that was probably one of the best decisions I made for the build. When sourcing with Singapore Sling Bricks, he already sorts all the pieces by type, with this service he sorted it into build. With a project this large, that saved me an incredible amount of time and frustration. Without that, I would have been digging through thousands of pieces just to find what I needed for each stage. It also made the build much easier to manage physically, since I did not need to have 48,000+ pieces spread around me at once.
Another thing I appreciated was that he included a bag of spare parts, which was a thoughtful and practical touch.
Of course, with a project involving over 48,000 pieces, perfection is almost impossible. There were a small number of missing parts across the build, but the error rate was extremely low considering the scale of the order. There was less than 50 incorrect pieces. More importantly, whenever something was missing, he was quick to sort it out. In some cases, I received the replacement part within an hour, and majority of the time it was resolved within 24 hours. That being said, I do live in Singapore so if you are an overseas buyer, shipping times will delay this. That kind of after-service matters a lot, especially when you are in the middle of a large build and do not want to lose momentum.
Overall, I would absolutely recommend Singapore Sling Bricks for anyone building a serious MOC, especially large or complex projects. The service saved me money, saved me time, reduced stress, and made the entire building experience much smoother. I would use his services again in a heartbeat.
